Victorian - Canada General Service Medal - Fenian Raid 1870 - 64th Battalion (Voltigeurs de Beauharnois) - Sauve Attempted erasure of the "2"Canada General Service Medal named to Pte. Z. Sauve, 64th Bn. Zenon Sauve, born in Quebec around 1848 appears on the roll for the 64th Battalion (Voltigeurs de Beauharnois) and received the CGSM with the clasp for the Fenian Raid 1870. The 64th Battalion were at Huntingdon, Quebec during the Battle of Trout River and were advancing as reinforcements on the day of the battle. Zenon Sauve died in Valleyfield, Quebec on 6 December, 1925. On a nice length
